Rasul Rooms are used to host this traditional Arabian-inspired cleansing ritual where the body is coated in a mineral-rich Moroccan mud. This treatment is used to exfoliate the skin and draw impurities from the body and is typically followed by a steam room treatment and warm water rinse.
Our Rasul Mud Rooms are fully automated, multi-area treatment rooms combining a tiled steam room and a relaxation area with heated seating and a feature shower that enable you to enjoy this therapeutic practice in a sumptuous and elegant setting.

What are the health benefits of a Rasul?
The use of mineral-rich mud, steam and heat cleanses the skin, relaxes and rejuvenates the body and mind whilst releasing toxins and removing impurities from the skin offering many health enhancing benefits from blood flow to complexion and soothing skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis to relieving rheumatic issues and alleviating aching muscles and joints.
Rasul Mud Room Design & Installation Recommendations
A Rasul Mud Room is a moist environment, so it’s important to use durable and waterproof materials in their construction, such as epoxy grouting on the walls and ceiling.
Slip-resistant stone tiling with integral drains should be set into the floor to avoid pooling of water and to aid cleaning and maintenance, while sloping benches allow condensation to run off the surfaces.
Ventilation is vital to provide a fresh air supply, extract stale air and ensure good oxygen levels. Strict humidity control is also required to keep the treatment materials moist in the heated space.
Additionally, attention needs to be given to the placing of the steam outlet, choosing the correct size steam generator and selecting an area or plant room to mount the steam generator which will allow for access and sufficient space for servicing.
LED colour changing fibre optic lighting can also be fitted to create a relaxing ambiance.
